I think its about time we have a section for anti viruses in the software and tools page in the megathread If it's no good, I might try going back to Avast, which used to have a pretty good zero-intrusions mode IIRC, or just uninstall everything and let MS Defender eat my lunch disk active time. I'll probably try that out, see how it is on popups etc. Looking around a bit, Kaspersky offers a free version that looks like just a Bitdefender-style barebones AV engine. Is Windows defender enough for modern gaming PCs?.
